Brief Overview:
· Delivery of budgeted gross profit from all members of designated sales team.
· Achievement of personal margin target from retained customer base.
· Ensuring Sales and Marketing costs from all direct reports come in under 20% of the total margin they generate.
· Achievement of focus brand and opportunity targets, new targeted business figure and increase in spend per customer.
Core Duties:
· Planning and delivering agreed gross profit budget within region.
· Achievement of 20% cost base cap.
· Day to day management, training and development of direct reports.
· Improving the efficiency of local account managers – new targeted business, margin driving categories, spend per customer, focus brand targets.
· Attend joint visits at key opportunities to increase the chances of getting the customer.
· Run monthly sales meetings.
· Conduct annual appraisals of direct reports.
· Co-recruitment of new sales personnel with Sales Director/Depot Manager.
· Managing the relationship and profitability of key regional accounts.
· Achievement of personal margin target from retained customer base.
· Representation of team internally.
· Representation of the company to the team.
· Liaising with partner depot managers to deliver bottom line profit targets.
· Production and presentation of accurate information to company directors.
· Development of awareness of all competitor activity.
